Bilkent Annual Workshop in Economics 2016 - Bargaining: Theory and Experiments

Bilkent University, Department of Economics organizes an annual summer workshop since 2011. The workshop theme changes every year. It was "Allocation Problems" in 2011, "Networks and Institutions" in 2012, "Econometric Theory and Applications" in 2013, and "Empirical Applications in Labor and Public Economics" in 2014. This year's workshop is organized by Emin Karagözoğlu and the overarching theme is "Bargaining: Theory and Experiments". The workshop will take place in the beautiful campus of Bilkent University. We are very glad to have a select list of speakers from various countries. The workshop will feature two plenary speeches and sixteen regular talks. Gary Bolton (University of Texas at Dallas) and Hans Peters (Maastricht
University) kindly accepted to give plenary speeches. There will be eight sessions and there will be one theoretical and one experimental talk in each session. This year we will also have poster presentations by doctoral students who work on bargaining.
